Kieron Dyer wanted by West Ham?
West Ham United are considering a move to Newcastle United midfielder Kieron Dyer.
The England international has suffered major injury problems during his eight years at Newcastle, which has limited him to just 190 Premiership appearances.
The Newcastle Evening Chronicle are reporting that Hammers boss Alan Curbishley is keen on the former Dyer, who would link up with his former Newcastle team-mate Craig Bellamy at Upton Park.
Dyer has two years left on his current deal, but was said to be very upset after being booed off the pitch in his last Premiership appearance for Newcastle. His huge wage demands would not be a problem for West Ham.
One interesting situation would be him playing in the same midfield as Lee Bowyer, who he had an on-field bust-up with two years ago when they were playing for Newcastle against Aston Villa.
