Blackburn, Man City and West Ham eye Santa Cruz

Blackburn - Mark HughesBayern Munich striker Roque Santa Cruz is rumoured to be mulling over a possible move to the Premiership.

The Paraguay international is frustrated at the first-team opportunities with the Bundesliga giants. His recent performances for his country in the Copa America tournament are said to have attracted interest from Blackburn, Manchester City and West Ham.

The 25-year-old has found himself behind Luca Toni, Miroslav Klose and Lukas Podolski in the pecking order at the Allianz Arena.

“There has been interest from some clubs in Roque, but nothing concrete,” His agent Jan van Baal told skysports.com.

“At this stage it looks like he will leave Bayern Munich, but nothing is settled.

“His first choice if he moves would be England.

“The Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world and is a big dream of Roque’s to play there.”

I’d love to see him and Benni McCarthy up front for us!
